Traveling Ramblers of Whittier Travel Club Membership
Traveling Ramblers of Whittier is an active group of friends that love to travel, experience new adventures, and enjoy lots of fun. Our club is open to members 55+ and adults associated with a 55+ member. There is a $30 annual membership fee, waived for Veterans. You must be a member to sign up for any trips. Members do not need to reside in Whittier. All are welcome!

TRAVELING RAMBLERS OF WHITTIER
CODE OF CONDUCT
​
The purpose of this Code of Conduct is to establish minimum expectations of behavior for members attending Traveling Ramblers (TR) sponsored meetings and trips. In order to create a safe and respectful environment for all members, participants are expected to maintain appropriate standards of behavior by refraining from conduct that may be (or perceived to be) detrimental to themselves, other participants, TR board members and/or other third parties (travel agencies representatives, guest speakers, etc).
Types of conduct that TR considers inappropriate includes, but is not limited to:
1. Engaging in disrespectful, abusive, harassing, or threatening behavior or any conduct that could be perceived or construed of as threatening or intimidating behavior including loud, abusive, threatening, vulgar or insulting language or gestures.
2. Engaging in racial, religious, political or sexual harassment of participants, volunteers, or board members.
3. Wearing inappropriate or revealing attire. Maintain personal cleanliness and good hygiene.
4. Disrupting TR meetings, trips or other TR related activities with sustained talking, phone calls, and/or other noise related activities.
5. Not following directions, rules, and/or laws associated with TR trips and activities.
Consequences of Participant Engagement in Inappropriate Conduct:
TR reserves the right to deny access to meetings and/or trips to any person or group of persons it reasonably believes is violating the Code of Conduct. Violations may result in termination of membership and access to TR sponsored trips.
